Yes, I am aware Black Swan is a thriller, therefore i absolutely agree that it is the better flick. However, like the comedy movie, I notice the Best Thriller movie in order to judged significantly solely close to the “thrill” ingredient. And while Black Swan did engulf me and keep in thrilled, The town pulled that aspect off a bit better. Maybe because the experience of it catered to that, I do not know. However, The Town just had me really on the sting of my seat from start to achieve pretty incredibly. The action was good, the film was so intense as well as the whole than me just never let up once it took off running, i couldn’t help but be enthralled since i went on that thrill ride.
Like I said, best film was down to Black Swan and Inception for my routine. Aronofsky’s work here was damn near fantastic. This was a brilliantly directed movie. Off of the camera shots to the background music to the story-telling to what he got out of his cast, Aronofsky did a wonderful in conveying this thriller story very aptly on all counts. As one of my favorite modern directors, it’s no wonder that that Aronofsky continues to thrill year after year.
So most likely be wondering why I gave this movie four stars? Well, the response is simple, involved with because is definitely so great. The fight scenes are enjoyable, and fun to watch, the training scenes standard enjoyable, and then it is nice to see a Bruce Lee ghost, which i think is pretty original, be trained by the ghost on a martial arts movie take the leading role. I mean that is awesome idea in per se. On a side note, although JCVD is plastered all over DVD covers, posters etc, his role in the film is pretty minimal, wonderful lines are merely non-existent, however his actions do the talking in this movie!
